Squalane

Squalane is an emollient, named on the Turmeric Citrus Grove lotion. It is stable on the shelf, which matters in a lotion that is going to sit in a bathroom for a month. It is also one of the lighter emollients, which matters because a lotion is meant to read like a finish, not a coat.

In the bottle, squalane is invisible. On the skin, it sits over the water that the hyaluronic acid pulled in. One holds water. The other sits close. The bottle reads light pouring out, soft going on, and quiet five minutes later. That third reading is where squalane does its work.
